Old Station Cottage was once the ladies waiting room of Sedbergh Station, It is completely self contained and is all on one level with level access. It has its own entrance facing the garden with a key safe giving 24 hour access. It is pet friendly with wooden floors in the main living areas and it is accessible - a foldable ramp is available if required. Fully modernised yet retaining historical features.

The cottage has 2 King sized bedrooms that are carpeted, both with mattress toppers and additional throws provided. Each bedroom has bedside cabinets and side lamps, wardrobe and full length mirror. Hairdryer is provided.

Fully fitted modern kitchen with built in oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. All cooking utensils and dishes, pans, frying pans, set of knives. Plenty of glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery all provided. Dining area through the original stone archway has a wooden table and four chairs, 

Modern bathroom having bath with Mira power shower over, grab rail. glass screen. Plenty of towels and toilet rolls provided. Various toiletries in the cabinets for guests use. Full length cupboard with mirror. Please note that although a wheelchair will fit into the bathroom it cannot manoeuvre.

Exposed stone wall and archway separates this area from the sitting room and kitchen. Patio doors onto the patio with garden furniture and chiminea which leads directly onto the large gardens.

Sitting room having outstanding views over the garden and the unspoilt National Park. Flat screen TV with FreeSat, Netflix, catch up TV and DVD player with DVD library for adults and children. Large velvet squishy sofa with throws and cushions. Two separate chairs. Bookcase and wide assortment of books. Drawer unit with local information and things to do, local walks, all weather maps of the area.

Full Eco biomass central heating, constant hot water and Free WiFi throughout. Child cot and highchair available for use - please request if needed.

The cottage is attached to the house by the utility room which has lockable doors at either end enabling the house and cottage to be completely separate or one large house. It also means families or friends staying together can each have their own private areas to retire back to.
